Modern Warfare 4 Aimbot Settings: Which Options Actually Matter?
Closed thread Closed by archiveCan someone explain the difference between FOV, smoothing and aimlock in these MW4 aimbot menus?
I understand the basic idea of aimbot, but the additional terminology gets confusing when every product describes it differently.
Are these standard terms or does every developer implement them differently?

Okay, that one makes sense.
Smoothing generally describes how gradually the aiming system moves. Exact behavior depends on implementation.
Aimlock is more about maintaining or locking onto a selected target. Again, definitions vary.
The funniest part is when a menu advertises 20 aiming settings but doesn't explain half of them.
I think that's the biggest issue. A feature list should actually explain what you're looking at.
Appreciate the explanations. Comparing available aiming features with the MW4 aimbot settings write-up made the menu terms easier to follow.
